What we do

One engineering partner from architecture to long-term support

MatrixAI LoRaWAN is a B2B IoT solutions engineering company — not a box reseller. We take responsibility for the complete chain: devices, connectivity, protocol integration, data and deployment.

  1. 01

    Consult & Architect

Requirements, RF/site assessment, device and gateway selection, network and integration architecture.

  2. 02

    Connect & Integrate

Protocol conversion from Modbus, BACnet, M-Bus and I/O to LoRaWAN, and data delivery to BMS, CAFM and platforms.

  3. 03

    Deploy & Commission

Installation supervision, gateway deployment, device provisioning, testing and handover documentation.

  4. 04

    Support & Scale

Network monitoring, troubleshooting, multi-site roll-out and dedicated IoT engineering teams.

Protocol conversion & integration

Connect the equipment you already have

Protocol conversion is a core MatrixAI capability. We bring Modbus, BACnet, M-Bus, RS485, pulse, analog and digital I/O onto LoRaWAN — and deliver the data to your BMS, CAFM, SCADA or platform, in both directions where appropriate.

Compatibility is project-dependent where vendor-specific profiles, certification, timing or security details affect integration — we validate every device type during design.

Energy

  • Electricity submetering (single & three phase, DIN rail, panel, CT-based)
  • HVAC and major equipment energy
  • BTU / chilled-water energy monitoring
  • Tenant and cost-centre energy allocation
  • Solar PV generation monitoring
  • Maximum demand monitoring
  • Consumption anomaly detection
  • Energy dashboards and saving opportunities

Water

  • Bulk and tenant water metering
  • Tank level monitoring
  • Pump status and run-hour monitoring
  • Leak detection (spot, zone and continuous-flow)
  • Flow and pressure monitoring
  • Irrigation metering
  • Water balance and non-revenue water analysis
  • Alerts and remote valve control

Smart buildings & facilities management

Alarms that become work orders

Facilities teams are measured on uptime, response time and cost — yet most building assets are invisible between PPM visits. MatrixAI adds wireless monitoring to existing buildings and connects it to the BMS and CAFM, so that alarms become work orders and maintenance becomes condition-based.

  • Energy and water monitoring
  • HVAC monitoring and control
  • Indoor air quality (CO₂, PM2.5, TVOC, temperature, humidity)
  • Water leakage, tank and pump monitoring
  • Asset condition monitoring
  • Occupancy and environmental sensing
  • BMS integration (BACnet, Modbus)
  • CAFM / CMMS integration

Why MatrixAI

Hardware, software and field engineering under one roof

We connect existing and new equipment, build reliable wireless infrastructure and integrate data with BMS, CAFM and enterprise systems — then stay to support and scale it.

  • Multi-protocol IoT expertise

LoRaWAN, LoRa Mesh, Modbus, BACnet, M-Bus, MQTT, OPC UA and more — in one team.

  • Hardware + software capability

Devices, converters and gateways, plus firmware, decoders, APIs and platforms.

  • Smart building & FM knowledge

We understand BMS, CAFM, PPM and how FM teams actually operate.

  • Energy & water management

Submetering, BTU, leak detection and water balance are core verticals, not add-ons.

  • Protocol conversion & integration

Existing equipment connected without unnecessary replacement.

  • IoT product engineering

Embedded, firmware and hardware engineering for custom requirements.

  • Deployment & commissioning

Field engineers for installation supervision, provisioning and testing.

FAQ

LoRaWAN questions we hear most

More answers on our FAQ page.

What does a LoRaWAN solutions company do?

A LoRaWAN solutions company designs and delivers complete wireless IoT systems: selecting sensors and gateways, planning RF coverage, configuring the network server, integrating data with platforms such as BMS, CAFM or SCADA, and deploying and supporting the network. MatrixAI provides this end-to-end service in the UAE and GCC.

Can MatrixAI connect our existing Modbus, BACnet or M-Bus equipment to LoRaWAN?

Yes. Protocol conversion is a core capability. We use Modbus-to-LoRaWAN, BACnet-to-LoRaWAN, M-Bus-to-LoRaWAN, pulse, analog and digital I/O converters so existing meters and equipment can be monitored wirelessly without replacement. Compatibility is validated per device model.

Do you deploy private LoRaWAN networks?

Yes. We design and deploy private LoRaWAN networks including gateway selection and placement, 4G/Ethernet backhaul and network servers such as ChirpStack, hosted on-premise or in the cloud.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Block B, Innovation Park, Sharjah, and deliver projects across the UAE — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates — and the wider GCC.

How do we start a project?

Send us a project enquiry with your site, assets and existing systems. A LoRaWAN specialist will review it, usually recommend an RF/site assessment or pilot, and propose a solution architecture.

Have an IoT project in mind?

Tell us about your site, assets and existing systems. A LoRaWAN specialist will review your requirements and propose a practical architecture — no obligation.
